High street tribal inspired garments

This image is from the vogue website. The designer of this garment is Christophe Lemaire. The background is an excellent way to show this garment, I chose this image because the vibrant colours and print reminds me of the maasai tribe.

This image is also taken from the wgqn website, the chunky beads and jewls make this necklace much like the necklaces the maasai women wear.

This image was taken from the vogue trends spring/summer 2014 website, I chose this image because  the statement rouge red is a favourite of the maasai's.

This image was taken from the wgqn website, I chose this image because of the shapes and vivid colours. The triangular edges is similar to some of the woven shapes in the maasai's necklaces and the notted ends remind me of the beads they use in them.

This garment is from the Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2014 collection. I chose this image because it is very different to other designers garments for the spring/summer collection as he has used feathers and the colour combination of red and black, which is also used mainly throughout the collection. The chunky accessories including shoes and necklace are very tribal.
